Katia, who has lousy luck and zero interest in witchery, inherits an enchanted woodlands, from her thousand-year-old great-great aunt. Her destiny is to protect this sacred land and its creatures from developers planning to bulldoze it and build a sprawling hunting resort. With help from an extinct dire wolf, a shape-shifting raven, three feisty garden gnomes, a noble, but amorous broom, and some cryptic instructions from her mostly dead aunt, the reluctant witch must quickly learn the necessary occult powers to stop them.
But when a charismatic hunting guide enters the picture, Katia must decide whether he’s an ally – or working for the enemy.
